Swiss chard and cheese strata

Swiss chard and cheese strata is a traditional dish known for its simplicity and comforting flavor. Originating from home cooking, this dish is usually prepared in households where chard is a common ingredient, primarily in areas where it is easily cultivated. In various Latin American countries, chard is also known as "common chard" or simply "chard," and this type of preparation can be found with slight variations, such as including different types of cheeses or adding local spices. In Argentina and Uruguay, for example, the strata is very popular and is often served at family gatherings or as a main dish for dinner. Additionally, the use of whole wheat bread and the combination of healthy ingredients make it a nutritious and tasty option.
