Sweet potatoes and apples

The recipe for sweet potatoes and apples is a delicious culinary tradition found in different regions of Latin America. Originating in countries with temperate climates where both ingredients are abundant, this preparation combines the natural sweetness of the sweet potato with the freshness and acidity of the apple, creating a harmony of flavors. In various Latin American countries, such as Mexico, Argentina, and Chile, this recipe is simply known as "batatas con manzana" or "sweet potato and apple puree," while in other places it may appear as a typical side dish for family dinners or celebrations.
