Cabbage rolls are a traditional dish that has been enjoyed through generations in various cultures. Their origin dates back to Eastern Europe, where they were prepared with fresh cabbage wrapped around a mixture of meat and rice, slowly cooked in a rich and flavorful sauce. In Latin America, the name and preparation may vary; for example, in Mexico they are known as "chiles rellenos de repollo", while in countries like Argentina and Chile they are simply called "rollitos de repollo" or "coles de repollo rellenos". Although the ingredients may change, the main idea of wrapping meat and vegetables in cabbage leaves remains constant, offering a comforting and nutritious dish.
