History and Origin of Pizza Pleasure Bread
Pizza pleasure bread is a delicious variant of traditional bread with flavors inspired by pizza, a dish with Italian roots that has evolved and been adapted in different Latin American countries. In countries like Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia, this type of bread is also known as "bread with pizza flavor" or simply "pizza bread."
Its origin dates back to the influence of Italian culture on Latin American cuisine, where the combination of ingredients like cheese, pepperoni, and Italian herbs are integrated into a soft bread dough that becomes irresistible. Unlike traditional pizza, this bread allows you to enjoy the characteristic flavors of pizza in a more practical and convenient form.
In different Latin American countries, the name may vary slightly, but the essence is the same: a bread enriched with typical pizza ingredients that has become very popular in bakeries and homes for its flavor and texture.
How to Prepare Pizza Pleasure Bread
Ingredients:
Water, White wheat flour, Powdered milk, Sugar, Salt, Butter, Pepperoni, Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Canned mushrooms, Onion flakes, Garlic powder, Oregano, Fast-acting yeast, Active dry yeast.
Preparation Steps:
Use a stick of pepperoni and cut it into 1/4-inch pieces. I put the pepperoni slices in my food processor and pulse.
As with all cheese breads, the appearance of the bread will be unusual due to the moisture from the cheese, a small price to pay for great flavor! This bread can be made with regular and quick bake cycles.
Use Romano cheese with Parmesan. Use Italian herbs instead of oregano. Add bell pepper flakes.
