Crispy garlic bread is a delicious preparation that has gained popularity around the world, especially in Latin America where it is an essential side dish for many meals. Its origin dates back to Mediterranean cuisine, specifically to Italy and France, where garlic bread is a classic on family tables. In different Latin American countries, it is known by various names, such as "pan con ajo" in Mexico, "pan de ajo" in Argentina and Chile, or simply "garlic bread" in some places with Anglo-Saxon influence. This dish has the particularity of combining the softness of the bread with the intense flavor of garlic and the freshness of herbs, making it an ideal complement for soups, pastas, or salads.
