Irritable crab cakes are a delicious seafood preparation, very popular in the coastal regions of Latin America. Their origin dates back to fishing communities, which took advantage of the freshness of crab to create simple but flavorful dishes. In countries like Mexico, they are known simply as "crab patties," while in the Caribbean they are called "crab croquettes." These variants share a base of fresh crab meat combined with ingredients that provide texture and flavor, adapting to local tastes. The specialty of irritable crab cakes lies in their soft mixture and crispy exterior, making them irresistible for any seafood lover.

Furthermore, its easy preparation allows you to enjoy a gourmet dish at home, perfect for sharing at gatherings or for a special lunch. Throughout Latin America, this type of dish is valued not only for its taste but also for its versatility when paired with different sauces or side dishes.
