How to prepare country-style rice

Ingredients: Chicken Broth, Green Onion, Black Pepper, White Rice.

Bring the broth to a boil with the green onion and black pepper.

Add the rice.

Reduce to a low heat and cover.

Cook for 20 minutes.

Variations: rice made with fish broth can be served with fish, rich beef broth with beef.

If you start adding more vegetables, you will end up with a jambalaya instead of a country rice side dish.
