How to prepare Teriyaki chicken pilaf

Ingredients: Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast, Ginger, Garlic Clove, Soy Sauce, Sherry Wine, Sugar, Mushrooms, Raw Rice, Cooking Oil, Chicken Broth.

Steps:

Chop the chicken into 1/4-inch pieces, mix the following five ingredients and use to marinate the chicken in a shallow dish for at least half an hour.

Pour the liquid from the canned mushrooms into a measuring cup and add enough additional chicken broth to make 2/3 cup of liquid.

Heat a shallow pan with a tight-fitting lid and add the cooking oil.

Add the chicken and stir until the meat begins to turn white on all sides, add the mushrooms and the raw rice grains.

Stir until the rice is coated with the oil and then add the liquid.

Cover and reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
